see relatedBreakfast @ Oak Street Coffee Shop
Had a delightful morning coffee and scone at the cozy and warm Oak Street Coffee Shop, just a few blocks away from my home.
See what I mean by "cozy"? :)
Ah... childhood memories. lol
Enh... me in all of my morning glory... ;)
Chocolate scone... freshly baked. Out of this world.

And the adjoining clock shop and window displays...

hey... i've studied there before. That's just a few blocks from where i go to school and work.
Looks like a fabulous time. :) And yes, very cozy.
@JadedJanissary - Really? How coincidental! Where do you go to school? I can't remember if you've mentioned it before...
@londonsgirl - Nazarene Theological Seminary.
@JadedJanissary - Do you know Marc Hardy?
@londonsgirl - lol, yeah. I see him all the time at the seminary, since i work there. He's a hall wanderer, but you didn't hear it from me.
@JadedJanissary - Haha! Hilarious. Yeah he works with my brother at Starbucks and comes over to our place sometimes. I also have a neighbor a few doors down who teaches at the Seminary. His name is David.. can't remember the last name.
@londonsgirl - you live near David Wesley?! He's one of my favorite professors!
@JadedJanissary - That's the name! Yes I do. He and his wife are really neat.
@londonsgirl - they are. Also, i know know where you live, which is sorta disconcerting. Incidentally, your house is really pretty. I've parked in front of it on game night.
@JadedJanissary - You're right... that is a bit disconcerting. lol
So you're one of those people who take those valuable parking spaces... tsk tsk.
@londonsgirl - hey, it was only on one or two occasions. And I felt bad.
@JadedJanissary - No hard feelings.
@londonsgirl - :D i feel so free of the guilt now.
@JadedJanissary - Well you know... any friend of David's... ;)
@londonsgirl - i concur. He's a great judge of character. Has he ever told you about the time he was in central american prison?
@JadedJanissary - He hasn't told me about it personally, but I heard bits and pieces of his conversation with my brother on it.
@londonsgirl - neat - it's an amazing story. Anyways, i gotta get back to finishing up the dishes. ttyl!
beautiful pictures. what kind of camera do you use? What is the name of this coffee shop? looks fantastic.
oh, nevermind about the name, got it. Oak Street Coffee Shop!
Wow. That is quite a cozy town where you live. I absolutely love it. It's just the kind of place I've always wanted to live in. Do you live in a small town?
@phatboybruce - Thank you :) I use a Canon Rebel... its a very reliable camera.
@HistoryMakin04 - Not exactly. lol I live in Kansas City which is quite large with about 1.5 million residents.
@londonsgirl - I have a few photographer friends myself, and I keep hearing great things about the Canons.
what a darling spot. so restful & full of ambiance. i haven't had a pretty cappucino like that since returning to the states. i miss my israeli coffee so. i love the first photo of you and i must ask what book you are reading.
